Nicolás Lamas: Espacio de Contingencia

Nicolás Lamas é um artista plástico nascido e residente em Lima, Peru. Graduado em 2002 pela Faculdade de Artes Plásticas na Pontificia Universidade Católica do Perú e com licenciatura em Bellas Artes na Universidad de Barcelona em 2005, Lamas possui um fascinante portifólio de instalações com claras poéticas arquitetônicas.

Em ‘Espacio de Contingencia’, um de seus mais recentes trabalhos, o artista propõe a contingência espacial através da transformação gradual de um ambiente físico através de diferentes elementos que são relacionados em níveis diversos de percepção, linguagem e significado. Objetos, imagens e sons interagem constantemente em micro eventos em mutação.

In ‘Espacio de Contingencia’, one of his latest works, the artist proposes a contingency space by the gradual transformation of a physical space through different elements that are related at different levels of perception, language and meaning. Objects, images and sounds constantly interact in micro-events situations that are always changing.
