Kindness

Adam Bainbridge, aka Kindness, é um produtor inglês que teve seu primeiro álbum lançado pela Polydor em março deste ano. ‘World, You Need a Change of Mind’ contém boas faixas como ‘House’ e ‘Cyan’ onde o artista mescla grooves de soul com beats quebrados e vocais surrados. O cara peca um pouco nas letras, que de longe são bem mais fracas do que seu know-how técnico e de produção.

No entanto, o que mais chama atenção em todo o projeto é a identidade visual do Kindness desenvolvida pelo ótima agência londrina This is Real Art. Com o nome das faixas e título do álbum restrito ao miolo, as capas ficaram livres pra apresentar uma série de imagens do artista impressas com brometo de prata. Como uma coleção, estes singles constroem um retrato do artista, convergindo para o lançamento do álbum ‘World, You Need a Change of Mind’, uma edição limitada que inclui um livro com fotografias pessoais do músico.

Adam Bainbridge, aka Kindness, is a british producer who had his first album released by Polydor in march this year. ‘World, You Need a Change of Mind’ contains good tracks such as ‘House’ and ‘Cyan’ where the artist blends the soul grooves with broken beats and noise vocal. The guy suffers a bit in the lyrics, which are by far much lower than its technical and procution know-how.

However, what really draws attention in the entire project is the visual identity of Kindness developed by the great London agency This is Real Art. With track and album titles restricted to the spines only, the covers have been left uninterrupted to feature a series of silver bromide prints. As a collection they begin to build a portrait of the artist, leading up to the release of his debut album ‘World, You
Need a Change of Mind’, a limited edition which includes a slipcased photo book with a very personal collection of tipped-in photographs.
