Guest Tape: Low Times

Low times é uma banda de Austin, Texas, composta por Erik, Michael e Roberto. O som é sensorial, cheio de recortes, violões crus e vocais distantes. Com uma produção totalmente independente, a banda grava seus discos em casa e produz sua própria identidade visual.

Erik Camacho, amigo e autor de grande parte das músicas do Low Times preparou nossa primeira Guest Tape, composta por músicas que o inspiraram criativamente nos últimos tempos:
“Ao longo dos últimos 3 anos eu abri um selo (AyeAyeAye), estive em 5 bandas, toquei em inúmeros shows, fiz um monte de festas, gravei, participei de turnês, fiz arte, comida e, claro, dancei à todas essas músicas. E mesmo com o tempo, elas ainda estão na minha mente e continuam a me inspirar.”

Low Times is a band from Austin, Texas, consisting of Erik, Michael and Robert. Their sound is sensory, full of clippings, raw guitars and distant vocals. With great independent productions, the band records their albums at home and produces its own visual identity.

Erik Camacho, good friend and author of most of Low Times songs, prepared our first Guest Tape, consisting of songs that have inspired him creatively over the past few years.
“Over the past 3 years i’ve started a record label, been in 5 bands, played countless shows, thrown countless parties, recorded, toured, made art, food, and of course danced to these songs. And over the years they have still stuck with me and continue to inspire me.”
